If you're looking to protect a vulnerable shoulder, this brace is a solid option. It definitely restricts movement, which is exactly what I wanted after a mild tear. However, I wouldn't wear it all the time, as it does hinder my ability to do certain tasks freely. It's a trade-off between stability and full mobility.
